The company "MARMARA PONTIKA", started its operation in 1970, in Lamia and is a family business, with the purpose and goal of processing and trading marbles. Its founders were the brothers Lambros and Dimitrios Pontikas. The business started on Cyprus Street in Lamia, in a rented space of 200 square meters. However, the entrepreneurial spirit and hard work of its founders created the need to expand to a larger workplace, which led them in 1983 to move the company's headquarters to the 3rd km of NEO Lamia-Athens where it is still today. .
The company had an exemplary rapid growth, constantly investing in modern, for the time, equipment, thus creating a vertical marble production unit which continues to have a prominent position in the Greek market.
Spaces & Facilities
In 2000, the baton passed to the second generation of the family, where it remains to this day, in a privately owned space of 24,000 square meters, with indoor facilities of 2,000 square meters and with the most modern technological equipment.
The company, fully aware of the huge demands of the market and the new trends of the time, expands the range of Marble - Granite Natural Stones and Quartz Materials, with the aim of creating a greater variety in colors and quality. The many years of experience, the high level of know-how, the excellent quality of the materials, the specialization and the continuous investment of the company in state-of-the-art technological equipment, ensure a perfect technical result.
